You can complete the four-hour DATA course online using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The course is also known as a Drug, Alcohol and Traffic Awareness (DATA) course or a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course. New drivers must complete a course that covers the dangers and legal consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol and illicit drugs.
